It discovered consumers are more inclined to make sustainable or ethical choices, becoming more socially conscious of their behavior, with 64% of consumers having reduced their use of single-use plastic and 75% have started to recycle or composted their wasted. It is no surprise, that 53% of consumers’ consider the use of minimal or recyclable/ compostable/ biodegradable packaging to be a determiner of something being sustainable, with 31% contemplating eco-friendly packaging when making a buying decision.
