How to: Secure different types of pallets with the PalletPAL™

To secure a standard pallet of cartons using PalletPAL™ and Kornerguard, pass the hook end of the PalletPAL™ load strap through the pallet using a pallet probe, bringing both ends on top of the pallet, and loosely secure through the buckle. Add the Kornerguard and tighten the straps to give a strong, secure load containment.

To pick a product from the pallet, release the tension on the straps, take the require product from the pallet, and retighten the straps ensuring that the load is even.

For pallets loaded with rolls of polythene, first stack the rolls safely on the pallet, then using a pallet probe, pass the hook end of the PalletPAL™ load strap through the pallet, bringing both ends on top of the pallet, and loosely secure through the buckle. Tighten the straps to give a strong, secure load containment. We recommend using at least 2 straps to secure your load.

To pick a product from the pallet, release the tension on the straps, take the require product from the pallet, and retighten the straps ensuring that the load is even.

For pallets loaded with 4 drums, such as beer or chemicals, first place 1 strap horizontally around the pallet, then using a pallet probe, pass the hook end of the PalletPAL™ load strap through the pallet bringing both ends on top of the pallet, and loosely secure through the buckle. Tighten the straps to give a strong, secure load containment. We recommend using at least 2 straps to secure your load.

To remove one or more drums from the pallet, carefully release the tension on one to two of the straps and remove the drum. Resecure the remaining drums, rearranging if needed, by retightening the straps carefully and securely.
